PICKLES

Our distinctive New York style pickles are fermented in the old-world tradition…in saltwater brine. Ba-Tampte are the world’s best pickles thanks to their wonderfully unique and robust flavor. It doesn’t matter whether you choose sweet bread-and-butter or dill, you won’t find a better tasting pickle.

PICKLED SPECIALTY

We make a pickled specialty item for every palate. Whether it’s our mild Sweet Wonder Peppers, our spicier Hot Cherry Peppers, or Pickled Tomatoes, Ba-Tampte’s specialty items are great on their own or as a side or ingredient in just about any sandwich.

SAUERKRAUT

Whether you choose our traditional Kosher Sauerkraut or the sweeter New Kraut, our kraut will dress up a main course as a distinctive side dish. Of course, you can always use our sauerkraut to turn a boring hotdog into the most memorable dog you’ve ever eaten.

CONDIMENTS

Spice up any sandwich or entrée with our Delicatessen Style Mustard, Horseradish and Beets, or our Prepared Horseradish. If you’re looking to add a distinctive kick to your next meal, Ba-Tampte condiments will have diners sit up and take notice.

HIGH QUALITY INGREDIENTS

Ba-Tampte prides itself on using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients and premium spices. Our "original brine" Half Sours and Garlic Dill pickles are made with fresh garlic and are naturally fermented, our Sauerkraut and New Kraut use only the freshest cabbage, and our specialty items and condiments contain the finest ingredients you’ll find anywhere. Plus, all of our products are cured using timeless recipes.

FAMILY-OWNED AND OPERATED SINCE 1955

Founded in 1955 by Meyer Silberstein, Ba-Tampte is still a family-owned and operated brand. Prior to founding Ba-Tampte, Meyer learned the pickle business from his father and grandfather who ran pickle stands in Manhattan's Lower East Side and pushcarts in the Lowest East Side. Today, many of our pickle recipes have remained exactly the same and Ba-Tampte is one of the few remaining New York style refrigerated pickle packers.
